Located directly next to Basel's second largest train station and at the highway access, the Badischer Bahnhof parking garage offers you many advantages: 

• Short-term parking for visitors to the city of Basel (inexpensive onward travel by streetcar and bus).
• Park and Ride for train users
• Parking for visitors to trade fairs (only 500 m to the trade fair)
• Visitors to the Tinguely Museum or sport events in St. Jakob
• (direct bus connection with line 36)
• Long-term parking for residents or employees of neighboring companies

Procedure:

1. Get a ticket at the entrance.
2. Insert the ticket at the ticket machine.
3. Press the option long-term-parking-ticket: "Dauerkarte".
4. Pay the fee of CHF 190.00.
5. The ticket is now a 30-day parking card valid from the time of your first entry to the carpark.
6. Use this ticket every time you enter and exit the carpark.
7. In case of defective manipulation, the parking fee will not be refunded.

The parking ticket does not garantee a free parking spot and can not be renewed after 30 days.

Lost parking tickets are non-refundable.

On the following dates, the trade fair/event tariff is applied.

Customers of Deutsche Bahn or SBB who are in possession of a long-distance ticket of product class A (ICE) or B (EC/IC/D/EN/CNL) will receive a reduced rate (CHF 13.- for 24 hrs) if the parking ticket has been coded at the DB Information in the counter hall of Basel Bad Bf station.

Opening hours DB Information:
Mon-Sat 6:00 am to 10:30 pm, Sun: 7:30 am to 10:30 pm.

Outside the opening hours of DB Information, the parking ticket must be coded at the 3-S central office on platform 1 (between tracks 2 and 3).

DB customers can reserve a space in the parking garage by e-mail. To do this, scan the ticket and send it to service.basel.bad@deutschebahn.com. You will then receive a reservation number. When entering the parking garage, the reservation number must be entered at the entry barrier, thus you will receive a coded ticket.

The payment of the parking fee is possible only at the pay stations of the parking garage.

With this option 2 people are able to go to the Fondation Beyeler Museum in Riehen and back by Tram including 5 hours of parking (every additional half an hour costs CHF 1.50).

Procedure

1. Go to the cash register and press the button „Beyeler Riehen“ - no longer than 20 minutes after entering the carpark.
2. Insert ticket, observe display.
3. A receipt will be printed. Ticket + receipt is the „Park & Ride“ – ticket.
4. Enjoy you‘re visit at the Fondation Beyeler Museum in Riehen.
5. Back in the carpark, you can leave the carpark after paying.
